Common Ground Senior Services

Silver Streak Transport provides services to residents living in Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne counties. This program is operated by Common Ground Senior Services and provides rides to residents unable to utilize traditional transportation options, such as public transit, and who have no other means of transportation for health and wellness appointments. Silver Streak may also provide transportation for grocery shopping, trips to the post office, or other needed errands, based on schedules and availability of drivers. Common Ground Senior Services supports older adults struggling with food insecurity, isolation, loneliness, limited mobility, and economic needs. To help our older adults live more independently and safely in their own homes, we provide home-delivered meals, transport services, social contact, safety checks and helpful resource connections. commongroundseniorservices.org.
